Dog Fouling

There are a number of Dog Litter Bins situated around our village and a lot of dog owners do use these but there is a minority who do not  and either allow their dogs to foul the grassed areas and pavements or collect up the droppings in a poly bag and then throw the bag into the hedgerow. In resent months both the Parish Council and the Meridian Magazine have received letters of complaint from residents.

Permitting a dog to foul public areas without clearing it up is an offence and if you should have a complaint about dog fouling or wish to report an incident of an owner not clearing up after their dog, please contact the Environmental Health Dept at South Cambs District Council.
