Front Cover:- "The New Bells’ by Alan Morris from photographs submitted by Andrew Stevens.

The new Treble Bell
The bell weighs approximately 4cwt-2qrs-14lbs (approximately 235Kgs) and has a mouth diameter of 2’ 3” (686 mm).

The new Second Bell
The bell weighs approximately 4cwt-3qrs-14lbs (approximately 248Kgs) and has a mouth diameter
of 2’ 4” (711 mm).

The bells have now been hung in the tower and all eight bells will be rung for the first time on Sunday April 17th for the service of dedication to be held at 3.30pm with the Bishop of Ely attending.

You are invited to attend this service so after watching the Yesteryear Road Run starting at 1.15pm on the same day why not go along to the Church for 3.30pm

The last time bells were installed in the tower was 1755 so this certainly is a historical event.
