Swavesey Meridian Apr/May 2006
Happy Birthday to us!  Well almost. This issue is number 99 which means in June we reach our 100th edition of The Meridian. We would like to contact anyone who was involved at the beginning in setting up The Meridian and ask as many of you as possible get in touch with the editor. Thank you.

It seems that the youth club is going to open every week, just for one night at present but if it is well supported and appreciated then perhaps it could be expanded. Let us hope this is the case, come on it is up to us to prove its worth.

Lighter nights and summer evenings to look forward to but with these comes the problem of noise- one persons music is another persons annoyance, so please keep those volumes down!

Finally the deadline for the 100th edition of The Meridian is 20th April, we are hoping to pack a lot into this special edition so please get those articles, information on events, birthdays in as soon as  you can
Ed.

This is the place to read the latest village news and announcements. The Major Events and Village Diary is kept up to date so check here to make sure that your proposed event will not clash with another event as has happened in the past. It is also important that you inform us of your future events so that we can include them in the lists.

Village Forum
A wide range of subjects are under discussion and  comments have been made both by parishioners and those in authority such as the police.
We need more members contributing and to become a member you only have to give a valid email address. The police and the Parish Council do look at the site to pick up feedback information which they can use for our benefit. Don’t let this put you off, we do have freedom of speech and justifiable criticism, suggestions and comment as well as praise are all valid methods of expression. So why not have Your Say.
