Your Say in Our Future — The Parish Plan For Swavesey — 2008 Update
Since my last update a lot of work has been done in the background and a questionnaire will be issued out to every household in the village.
Please do take the opportunity to complete the questionnaire so that your views can be recorded. The purpose of the questionnaire is to identify the needs and requirements of Swavesey and then through the Parish Plan to formulate an action plan for the village. The mere fact that we will have a plan puts the village in a far stronger and better position when we seek support/finance for projects and developments within the village the need for which the Plan has identified.
Remember, this is your chance to make a difference to your village. A blank questionnaire is a wasted one so grab a pen!

Change of Opening Dates
This year the Fair will be in Market Street during the first week of May, as usual. However the opening dates have now changed.
Please note that the Fair will be open for business on the following dates only:
Tues 6th, Weds 7th and Thurs 8th May
The Fair will NOT be open for business on the Friday or Saturday evenings. This change has been made to try to overcome the problems experienced over the past few years, in particular problems occurring on the Friday evening.
Parking in Market Street
Please could everyone who parks their vehicle in Market Street help by ensuring it is moved by early Monday morning, 5th May. In order to set up and be ready to open on the Tuesday evening the Fair will need to pull onto the car park area as early as possible. During the week, the car park at the Memorial Hall can be used to park some vehicles, however the hall is used most days and evenings, therefore parking may not always be available.
Thank you
