Are you looking forward to spring? I am sure many of you are after the weather we had in the early part of this year, let us hope we have a good summer to make up for it. By now of course we should have been able to use the guided bus, but this is delayed until sometime later in the year. It will be interesting to see how much it is used once the novelty wears off, the present bus service is not providing the level of service we need in a village the size of Swavesey. I have been told that since the new route started with the much longer journey times many people have gone back to using their car to get to work, are you one of them? why not tell us and the Parish Council of your experiences? The next issue covers June and July the traditional time for summer fairs and fetes, sports, barbeques....so give us the details and we will tell everyone about them remember the magazine goes to every household in the village. Deadline for copy is the 20th April (or earlier!). Ed |
