By the time this edition of your Meridian comes out many of you will be enjoying your summer holiday. If yours is particularly memorable or something unusual happens to you why not let us know about it? Maybe you have found somewhere that has good facilities for families, or an out of the way spot where you can enjoy peace and quiet, or perhaps you have had the "holiday from hell" and feel you ought to warn others not to go there! Let us have your stories and experiences.

If you are holidaying at home then there is plenty to keep you busy, from organised activities for the youngsters to exploring the area on one of our walks, visiting the library to find a good book  (in case of rain!).

The deadline for our October/November issue is the 20th August so if you have some time on your hands?! and of course if you are planning anything in October or November then we need to know about it, Autumn Fair? Halloween event? Firework display?

A puzzle for you.. does anyone know how to stop the toffee falling off the apple when you make home made toffee apples?
