'Dance For Life' - MAGPAS

At the sell-out 'Dance for Life' event held in September at Ryder's Farm £8,100 was raised for MAGPAS. We had a great time dancing to QED and the Frigidares - both of whom who gave their services for nothing!

MAGPAS's volunteer doctors are called out day or night to support the Ambulance Service at serious accidents and incidents where their advanced skills greatly improve the chances of survival of badly injured casualties. As the government contributes nothing, it's left us locally to keep them afloat.

Our thanks to 3G, Aqua, CV Diesels, MG Owners Club, Vision Disco and Vision Signs for sponsoring costs. Also, we would like to thank Mo Hadfield, Mark Rumbalow, Adam Swain and Bill Smart and our wives for the substantial amount of time they put in. Our thanks also to the others who helped in so many of ways.

Next year, we're organising a similar event - this time earlier in the year, on Saturday July 13th. But this time we will make more beer available and the auction/collection of raffle prizes less of a pain.

Thank you all for your tremendous support.
