Mobile reduces hours
You may have noticed that from the beginning of the year the mobile library service for Swavesey has been reduced to a fortnightly service calling at the Market Square on alternate Saturdays between 12.15 and 13.00pm.

I know this will be a disappointment to those of you who regularly use this mobile service, But all is not lost, have you considered trying our Voluntary run village library?

We are linked to the Cambridgeshire County Council service so can offer you everything the mobile did and more.

You still use your CCC library card to borrow our books, which can be taken out for up to three weeks.

You can renew our books (and order new ones for collection at our library) online. All you need is your CCC membership number and a PIN and if you don’t have a PIN, then ask one of our volunteers to issue you with one on your next visit.

You can request books, videos, talking books, (always popular for those long car journeys) CD’s and DVD’s held by any Cambridgeshire library. There is a £1 charge for requesting adult books and a £2.50 charge for video / DVD hire.

We have a well stocked children’s corner catering for toddlers to teenagers.
