The Front Cover this month is 'Summer Solstice'. The theme was devised by April Martin and the graphics created by Alan Morris.

Midsummers day (June 21st) occurs during the period of this issue of our magazine and we have used an illustration of Stonehenge to celebrate this day.

Stonehenge is shrouded in mystery and legend and to protect it for future generations and provide a peaceful atmosphere  there are  plans to hide the  A303 road from view of Stonehenge in a bored tunnel and to construct an underground visitors centre.

One website describes it as:- While we can't say with any degree of certainty what it was for, we can say that it wasn't constructed for any casual purpose. Only something very important to the ancients would have been worth the effort and investment that it took to construct Stonehenge.
