St Andrews Swavesey - Past and Present

The oil painting by an unknown artist was made before the construction of the 'new' road (Station Road) between Swavesey and Over. Today the fine row of Cedars of Lebanon hide the fine south view but it still has a charm of its own.
The painting was once on display in the smoky atmosphere of the "Black Bull" public house until it became the possession of Mr. George Hodson. Today it graces the lounge of John (Jodda) Hodson.
