The Parish Council meets on the fourth Monday of the month except when this falls on a Bank Holiday when it is then moved to the third Monday.  The meetings are held in the Memorial Hall at 7.30pm and the public and press are welcome to attend.

Meeting Agendas are published on the Thursday prior to the Monday's Parish Council meeting.
Minutes of Meetings are approved as a correct record at the following Parish Council Meeting and will then be published as soon as possible following approval.
The present Parish Council term will end in May 2010.

BT Consultation
Removal of Payphone Kiosks

 BT intends to reduce its number of public payphones and has launched a public consultation which will end on 06 September 2008.  In Swavesey both payphone kiosks in Boxworth End and High Street have been listed for removal.  Before commenting, the Parish Council wishes to seek any comments from local residents with regard to these proposals.

SWAVESEY  PARISH  COUNCIL

VACANCY  FOR  A  COUNCILLOR

A vacancy has arisen on the above Council caused by the Resignation of a Councillor.

A bye-election to fill the vacancy will be held if within 14 days (not counting Saturdays, Sundays and bank holidays) from the date below ten electors for the parish give notice in writing claiming such an election to the Returning Officer.

The Address of the Returning Officer is:   South Cambridgeshire District Council, South Cambridgeshire Hall, Cambourne Business Park, Cambourne, Cambridge, CB23 6EA

If no such notice is given the Parish Council will fill the vacancy by co-option.

Guided Busway

Bus Stop plan   Parish Council comments on the design and landscaping plans for the bus stop can be seen in the April Minutes.
Mow Fen Drove junction plan;  Lairstall Drove junction plan.  Parish Council had no comments to make on these junction plans, which are similar to those for Middle Fen Drove.
Middle Fen Drove junction plan.  Parish Council comments on this junction plan can be seen in the March Minutes.  Amendments to the road surface submitted May 2008.
Over Rd/Station Rd Junction Plan    Parish Council comments on this junction plan can be seen in the January Minutes.  Comments on the amended set of plans for the design and landscaping of the junction and drop-off site can be seen in the May Minutes.
