The Parish
Council meets on the fourth Monday of the month except when this
falls on a Bank Holiday when it is then moved to the third Monday. The
meetings are held in the Memorial Hall at 7.30pm and the public and
press are

BT Consultation BT intends to reduce its number of public payphones and has launched a public consultation which will end on 06 September 2008. In Swavesey both payphone kiosks in Boxworth End and High Street have been listed for removal. Before commenting, the Parish Council wishes to seek any comments from local residents with regard to these proposals. Please send comments regarding this

SWAVESEY PARISH COUNCIL VACANCY FOR A COUNCILLORA vacancy has arisen on the above Council caused by the Resignation of a Councillor. A bye-election to fill the vacancy will be held if within 14 days (not counting Saturdays, Sundays and bank holidays) from the date below ten electors for the parish give notice in writing claiming such an election to the Returning Officer. The Address of the Returning Officer is: South Cambridgeshire District Council, South Cambridgeshire Hall, Cambourne Business Park, Cambourne, Cambridge, CB23 6EA If no such notice is given the Parish Council will fill the vacancy by co-option. Committee Local volunteers are urgently needed to help keep this project going The Committee needs people to
