Welcome to Swavesey Library
Where to find us:
Swavesey Library is in the Old Entrance Hall, Swavesey Village College.
Swavesey Library is a volunteer run facility born out of the closure of the Cambridgeshire County library. Following major building works within the college, the library has now relocated to the Old Entrance Hall and at the same time has been fully refurbished. We now offer you an up to date, quiet, safe, welcoming library environment, with easy access from the front of the college site.
The Library holds a range of adult fiction, biography, and local studies material, including some large print books. The children’s book section is quite extensive, including a range of Junior Fiction Books.
There is a large bookcase of books for sale consisting of books donated in good condition and including a large amount of up-to-date fiction. (See below) Books are priced at 50p each or 5 books for £2.
Photocopying Facilities are available during library opening hours to make A4 size photocopies. The charge will be 10p per copy for black and white and 20p for colour.

Come along to the library, children, and join this year’s challenge. Dennis, Gnasher and friends invite you to set off on a hunt for Beanotown’s famous buried treasure! As usual there are special stickers to collect and there’s a map to explore to find clues. All you have to do is read a small number of library books throughout the summer.

As usual you will collect a medal and certificate from the library when you finish the challenge.
